The 46th SYM-OP-IS is taking place at the heart of Danube's Iron Gates, the largest and most beautiful gorge in Europe, at the Hotel Đerdap in Kladovo between September 15-18, 2019.

There will be an organized transportation from Belgrade to Kladovo for participants of the XLVI SYM-OP-IS. The departure is planned on 15th September, 2019 at 8:30h from Faculty of Organizational Science. The return is planned on 18th September, 2019 between 11:00 and 12:00h. Located on the bank of the Danube river, in the centre of Kladovo, the hotel dominates the town's skyline with its eight floors. Hotel Đerdap has 137 rooms and 6 suites, each with a private bathroom, TV and a direct phone line. The guests also have access to the restaurant Zlatna sala, two conference rooms, a bar, lobby bar, and two gardens overlooking the Danube. Hotel Đerdap owns a boat-restaurant with 120 seats. The Wi-Fi connection is free, and the parking lot is covered with security cameras.

Day trip

The boat ride through one of the most beautiful European gorges on the Danube starts from Tekija, 22km upstream from Kladovo. This part of the Danube's course is where the river is the narrowest and where the water is the deepest. During a three-hour ride, the visitors find themselves in the biggest outdoor museum in this part of Serbia – with Tabula Traiana, a stone plaque of the Dacian ruler Decebel, Romanian monastery Mrakonija, and with an option to visit the Hydroelectric power plant Đerdap I.
